The basics.

How do I create my farm profile?

After signing up, you'll book a free 1-on-1 setup call where we walk you through everything. Then you'll enter your farm name, operation type, crops, and audit target date. You can update these anytime in Settings.

Is GAP APP free?

Yes, for FSMA 204 traceability. The free Harvest Tracker plan includes lot tracking, harvest, receiving, shipping and transformation event records, the FDA sortable spreadsheet export, document storage, your farm map, and the records import wizard. SOPs, daily logs, mock audits, HACCP, facility checklists, the export binder, timed mock recall drills, suppliers, workers, and inventory are on paid plans, and you can try them with a 14-day free trial.

Do I need any special equipment?

Nope. GAP APP works in any modern browser on your phone, tablet, or computer. No apps to install — though you can add it to your home screen as a PWA for quick access.

Can I use GAP APP on my phone in the field?
Absolutely. GAP APP is fully responsive and works great on mobile browsers. You can even add it to your home screen for app-like access. Offline support is available for logging when you don't have signal.
How does the mock audit work?
The mock audit walks you through real GAP audit questions organized by category. You answer each question, and GAP APP scores your readiness and flags areas that need attention before your real audit. Mock audits are included with paid plans; a practice score is not a prediction of your certifier's result.
What file types can I upload for documents?
You can upload PDFs, images (JPG, PNG), Word documents, and Excel files. Common uploads include water test results, training certificates, pesticide labels, and insurance documents.
How do I share access with my auditor?
From a facility's page (paid plans), you can generate a time-limited auditor link. The auditor gets read-only access to your SOPs, logs, documents, and facility tour — no account needed.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each farm's data is isolated with row-level security, meaning only you and anyone you explicitly grant access to can see your records.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can downgrade to the free tier or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings.
